Bernard Maingain

Bernard Maingain, born on 30 April 1955, holds a diploma from the Faculty of Law of Louvain University. He graduated with great distinction in 1978. He was an assistant at the Faculty until 1999 and taught European labour law at the FUCaM (Catholic University Faculty of Mons) for several years. He gave up teaching as a result of his business expanding abroad.

As a young attorney at the Bar, he won the Volée award in Paris and the Marseille Law Society Award at the international moot court competition of the Francophonie in Liège.

He provides assistance to business leaders in Belgium and abroad in strategic operations. This has led him to take assignments working as an attorney in Luxembourg, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, London, Moscow, Kiev, Riga, New York, Washington, Kinshasa, Johannesburg, Kigali, Bujumbura, Nairobi, Kampala, Tel Aviv, Dubai and more. He provides assistance to governments, international institutions and economic operators in crisis situations.

His work is focused on always putting human beings at the centre of all legal strategic decisions.
